Artist's Comments

I get notes asking how I design certain pieces, so I figure I'd put one together. But try as I might, I find that it's not so much a tutorial, as it is an insight into my thought process; Kind of "What Would DomNX do?"

Forgive my misspellings and improper grammer. (I iz from American publik Skool systemm) Hey, that's why I'm an artist, not a novelist! Besides, what do you expect for 'Free?' :)

St. Francis said,
“A man who uses his hands is a laborer. One who uses his hands and mind is a craftsman. He who uses his hands, and his mind, and his heart is an artist.”
Well, I won't do anything in vector, I guess, but I just have to approve of giving away the way one works in such a clean, short, understandable way.
So therefore :+fav:!

Keep up the fight for good propaganda! ;)

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be", said the cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
Alice's Adventures In Wonderland
it might come in handy when i start playing around with vectors.

Since he is of no use anymore, there is no gain if he lives and no loss if he dies.
I've been wanting to try propaganda posters since I saw your work. So thanks for this great tutorial.

In what program do you make your posters? I know this can be made in any vector program but I'm just interested what you work with.
